TGIF!!!

Well, it has been a busy Friday and there is still more to go. Today is Halloween and the Jr. High had their first school dance. Kambrie wore my old Pref Dress and put spiders in her hair and went as a black widow. Boy, getting ready for this dance you would have thought it was Prom or something, finding the right outfit, standing out from everyone and DRAMA. Oh, well it is done over with and she had a good time dancing with several different boys from her class. Tonight is the trunk or treat at the church as well as the playoff game for state football. Hopefully, our boys will show Malad that they can play a full game of football w/o going to sleep in the 3rd quarter.

GO HORNETS!!!!

UPDATE: We WON!!!

October Happy Birthdays

Well, I just went to Hallie Lyn's 10th birthday party tonight can't believe she is 10. Just the other day we were having princess parties when EVERYBODY dressed up in their very best princess or prince outfit.
Happy Birthday Hal!!
My baby sister the cute little blonde will be the big 30 tomorrow.
Happy Birthday Spliff Diff, LOL!!
Aunt Sherry kept herself busy and had a good birthday celebration. Spending it with her sisters and nieces. I am glad she has a good family to look after her.
Uncle George and Grandma Sandy both would have celebrated birthdays in October. Just a note to let them know I was thinking about them and miss them both. Uncle George enjoyed going to watch Cameron participate in any sporting event. Sandy would have enjoyed them too. I am sad that she was never able to attend them like she did with Hank, Levi and Tucker. She was always prepared to make a day of it. She had chairs and an umbrella in the trunk along with a cooler full of drinks. She was always their biggest cheerleader. Love you & miss you.

Took a few pics

I decided to try to get some more pics of the kids tonight I really want to get a good one of them together but we are going to have to start earlier than 6. The first pic is of Cameron, the second and third pics are of Kambrie. She had seen a picture taken of a girl in her tutu so she wanted to try one out as well. The fourth pic is of Cameron which I think is my favorite of him so far. I am hoping Mindy got some better shots.

Quote for the day

“You young men need to know that you can hardly achieve your highest potential without the influence of good women, particularly your mother and, in a few years, a good wife. Learn now to show respect and gratitude. Remember that your mother is your mother. She should not need to issue orders. Her wish, her hope, her hint should provide direction that you would honor.”Russell M. Nelson, “Our Sacred Duty to Honor Women,” Ensign, May 1999, 38Topic: WomanhoodThe Home Is the Most Significant Classroom“Perhaps most significant of all classrooms is the classroom of the home. It is in the home that we form our attitudes, our deeply held beliefs. It is in the home that hope is fostered or destroyed. Our homes are the laboratories of our lives. What we do there determines the course of our lives when we leave home. Dr. Stuart E. Rosenberg wrote in his book The Road to Confidence, ‘Despite all new inventions and modern designs, fads and fetishes, no one has yet invented, or will ever invent, a satisfying substitute for one’s own family.’ ”

Pumpkin Fun

This past weekend Mindy was off at a fun class playing with her camera. Mom and I had all of the kidlets, our first agenda for the day was to torture the kids by taking them to the Craft Fair. If they were good at the Craft Fair then we would go to the pumpkin patch, so of course they were all little angels. On our way home from the Pumpkin Patch we got a wild hair and decided we would drive down to Logan to see Gma Joyce, Aunt Valerie, Shannon & Megan. So we left way late in the afternoon. We got to Val's about 7 ish. We went to dinner at the Golden Corral, which seemed to make everybody happy. The dude had a ball playing with the Magic Shell chocolate he put all over his ice cream. We then headed up to the Pumpkin Walk, Mindy was on her way home from SLC and met us there. Here are a few pics from our unorganized fun filled day. I think the Witch at the end thought we were all nuts, we had four different cameras going while everybody took turns getting a picture with the witch.

Fall pics

Pics I took of the kids this fall.

Just messing around

Well, I just started messing around with this thing, still don't savy it at all but I guess it will give me something better to do than surf on 2Peas.
