Happy Birthday Cameron!!!

Yes, my post is late as usual. I had intended on making this post the afternoon of his birthday, however 7 hours of no power that afternoon put a slight damper on things. Now it is only a week later that I am getting around to it.

My little boy is growing up quickly, he just turned 17. As a young boy he enjoyed being out doors digging in the dirt. As a young man he still likes playing in the dirt. Whether he is out riding his dirt bike, camping, fishing, or helping Grandpa build a house. He is a fine young man with a lot of potential to do well for himself. He is a hard worker and knows how to get the job done. Cameron has a good sense of humor and is a joy to be around. I appreciate all he does for me and the contributions he makes to our family. He has been especially helpful while I have been trying to finish up school myself and does so without complaint. I am thankful for the example he is for his little sister.

I have tried to come up with 17 words that describe Cameron.

1. Handsome
2. Funny
3. Ambitious
4. Respectful
5. Caring
6. Helpful
7. Trustworthy
8. Confident
9. Determined
10. Accomplished
11. Strong
12. Knowledgeable
13. Example
14. Admired
15. Reliable
16. Kind
17. Zesty

Cameron, I love you and appreciate all you do.
Love,
Mom

June Project

When I say it has been a project I am not kidding. My scraproom is FINALLY done. Hank took the dresser to work one night and did a great job painting it up for me. YAY!!! It took me some time to get things cleaned out and put away but it is done, I can even find things. LOL!! Hopefully, I will have time to use it this summer. :) Going to have to get me a smaller T.V. as this one takes up took much space but will do for now.

How we wrapped up the Month of May!

Well, the end of May came and went too dang quickly. May is usually a very busy month with Mothers day, school getting out, field trips, dance recitals and of course the annual trip to Indian Hot Springs.

For Mother's Day we went to mom and dad's for a BBQ. Grandma Joyce and Grandpa Fred came over and we had a fun and relaxing evening together. My mom and Grandma's have always been someone I have always looked up too and been close too. They have good role models for me. I can only hope that my kids will enjoy spending as much time with me as I have with my mom and grandma. They have always been so willing to help me and my family, which is something I truly do appreciate. They are both a lot of fun to be around. Love you mom and grandma. :)

Kambrie performed at her dance recital. She enjoys dancing and has grown so much into a beautiful young lady. I enjoy watching her perform. She has improved quite a bit this year. I am hoping to find a summer camp for her to attend to that would help improve even more.

My memory is failing me, guess that is why you don't wait too long to post.

Dad and Cameron went to the State track meet and enjoyed watching the kids compete there. While they were there I had the priveledge of driving the truck and horse trailer to Jerome to pick out and purchase sheep. I usually do not drive the trailer that much but we made it in one piece. LOL!! When I got home Grandpa Fred came over and helped me get them unloaded as they were quite wild. In the whole episode Hank discovered I was not as helpless as I often seem to be. Dang it!!!

I accompanied Kambrie on her field trip to Craters of the Moon. The kids had a good time and were wore out. I know I was definitely wore out by the time we headed home.

For Memorial Day Weekend we went to Indian Hot Springs. The kids had fun camping, swimming and fishing. Cameron insisted on pulling along the Hornet Hive, it was the boys hang out. Cameron and McKade slept in the camper while all the girls piled into a tent for the weekend. Val, Mindy, Lora and I drove into Pocatello one afternoon to grab a few things. While I was at Wally World I actually bought a book and read it. :) Usually the only thing I read is from a textbook when I have too. It was nice to read for enjoyment for a change. We had fun visiting with family and playing bullseye washers. Love that game going to get me one.

Finally, the big change that came in the month of May was finding and getting a new cell phone plan as Edge was no longer available. So when we made the change we added Miss Kambrie a line. She was sooooo excited. In the first two days she had over 700 text messages that she had sent. To who, about what, who knows. Thankfully the texting is unlimited so she can text her little heart out.
