Happy Belated Birthday :)

Well, as usual I am running behind on posting things I want to post. Two very special ladies celebrated birthdays this week.
The first special lady that celebrated her 86th birthday was Hank's Grandma Reynolds. I have known her for many years now, she is not any different than my own grandmother's. Speaks her mind but remains sweet and kind.

The second special lady that celebrated her birthday this week was my Aunt Jane, she has been more than a Grandma to me than a great aunt. She is always so thoughtful and loving. I love spending time with her when we can, especially the midnight chats when all of the kids are done mauling her and in their own beds. The kids pester her to death when she is here, wanting to know what fun activity they are going to do with Aunt Jane. Miss you!!

Love you both and hope you both had a very happy birthday.

Epic Long February Post ..............

Well, let's see where to begin. Ummmmm. To begin with I fell behind the first part of February due to computer problems I was approximately two weeks without my puter. OMG!!!!! I can't live without it. I will try not to be to dry in my story sharing and keep most of it pretty brief if possible.

February 2nd - 4th Did the usual work (started training the new gal that will be filling my shoes at Cooper Equipment), school, home, no puter..... let's say the evenings were pure torture for me not having an escape.

February 5th - same thing work, school, home picked up puter YEAH!!!! Good time to get caught up on homework. I am sure the days were eventful but just cannot remember that far back.

February 6th - a little work, a lot of school, puter had puked by the time I got home so no puter ALL WEEKEND LONG!!!!! UGH!!!!!! Oh, and it was my favorite nephews birthday today. McKadee turned 6. He had a fantabulous birthday party at the bowling alley.

February 7th - I wanted to document this day and prepare a little something special for my blog but um..... a little difficult without my puter, I lost some of my programs and need to reinstall them but gotta find the disk first. AnyWHO!!!! Today, Hank & I celebrated our 17th Wedding Anniversary. OMG!! Yes, 17 years together, didn't ever think I would make it that far. LOL!! Or him for that matter. ;) We went to The Garden for dinner then to the movie New In Town, it was definitely more of a chick flick and I enjoyed the humor waaaaaaayyyy more than Hank did.
Oh, and he was a FANTABULOUS HUBBY and painted my trim and closet shelves for my scrapping room. YEAH!!! Now to get it all hung.

February 8th - can't say much happened other than church and kickin' back for the afternoon.

February 9th - 12th much like the first week work, school, no puter. Oh, school was A LOT OF FUN today!! The kids had their Valentines Day Party, they were so cute giving out their little Valentines to each other. I loved hearing them come up to me and say I have a Valentine for you Mrs. Clark. Do you like it? Of course you gotta love them all.

February 13th - FRIDAY THE 13TH, nothing eventful happened was happy to get my computer back YEAH!!!! Still has some difficulties but been working them out. Went and did our taxes, not too excited about them this year. :(

February 14th - Valentines Day we started out the morning going to Kambrie's basketball game. Then I went to town for groceries, back home just in time to get enchilada's done for Cameron to take over to Davis's for dinner. A group of them were going to the teen dance and had planned dinner together. Hank had to work so I had run him over dinner after I had finished it. Not much else Kambrie and I watched the movie FireProof (good show, a little cheesy but has a good message).

February 15th - church, nap, ????????? I am sure we did some homework and fixed dinner.

February 16th - Today I went to work, No school because of President's Day!! New gal is picking up on things well, now if Jeff will just learn to relax with her some it will all be good. Oh, I had a new job interview tonight. This job will allow me to work 6 - 10 hours a week at my convenience doing books. Not a lot of income but hopefully enough to cover my fuel to Twin and back.

February 17th - Today was my last day at Cooper's, kind of a sad day for me. However, it was just another day of business for them. I didn't get to see Jim or Jeff as they were both out of the office when I left. :( Will miss seeing my little Lettie everyday and just miss being there, I have been there almost 10 years. I left Cooper's at 1:00 pm and was unemployed for a total of 2 hours and 18 minutes. I got the job at Burley Glass that I had interviewed for the night before. YEAH!! They called at 3:18 pm and left me a message. So good news there. Another bit of good news for us when we got to Twin was our 3:30 class had been cancelled, so we were able to get home EARLY!!!!!! and able to watch Idol. I really like Danny Gokey so far this season.

February 18th - 20th - New found schedule mornings are not quite so hectic and I don't feel like I am going a million miles an hour. Been working on my electronic portfolio and TWS. These two things will give me MAJOR stress this semester but they are manageable. I went in to train for my new job on the evening of the 19th. Should be pretty easy to pick upon, very small business just learning how they do things. On the 20th we went to dinner with Chris & Kim, it was an enjoyable evening and the food was good.

February 21st - Went to Kambrie's last basketball game her and Macy have improved so much. They are learning how to work well together. They tend to try harder when Grandpa is there, he didn't miss any games. I went into work but the gal was a no show, so we are meeting again on Thursday. We cleaned a little house (dryer element went out, UGH) and I fixed dinner and we just loafed around. Grandpa took Cameron to the Jazz game, lucky boy.

February 22nd - We went to church, fixed dinner, visited with home teachers, had a little family time. Nothing too exciting.

I think I am going to stop there.............. Whew!!!! Oh, and I have been really slacking since I have not taken one pic this whole month. The SHAME of it all will come back to haunt me I am sure. LOL!

Last Week's Happenings 1/25/09

K' so I am a little behind not that there is anything overly exciting to post anyways.

Monday ~ just another fabulous day. I went to work, then went to class, then thought I would relax by watching Kambrie tumble for an hour. Mom was going to bring her home from voice lessons so I headed home with the intent to get something done. Well, that didn't happen. On my way home I thought the van was driving a bit funny. I had checked it earlier cause it didn't seem right and I felt something wrong in the front wheels, checked them out they looked ok. So I head home and my problem get progressively worse. I get out at the stop sign on the good ole' back country roads and start walking around the van to see what the problem is. Well, um.... you can't drive very well on a flat tire. Yep, the back tire was toast. Hank was at work and couldn't leave, so I had to rely on my trusty and able bodied 16 year old to come and change mama's tire. Uncle Ty was on his way home and stopped to help us out. I swear everybody from Declo come down that road that night. LOL!!! I was dang tired and frustrated by the time I got home, so I took a bath and went to bed.

Tuesday ~ Don't remember much other than I had my tire fixed, went to work then headed to Twin for 6 llllllooooooonnnnnngggggg hours of classes.

Wednesday ~ Same old, same old. Go to work then headed to Twin. Enjoyed spending time in the classroom today. First graders are ALOT of work, but I enjoy being with them.

Thursday ~ Same thing again, work the Twin for class. After class I went up to watch Kambrie's basketball practice. Oh, then we had some trouble with the black truck and the blue truck but got it everything running again.

Friday ~ All I can say is TGIF!!!!!

Saturday ~ We were up bright and early getting ready to go watch Kambrie's basketball game when Cameron's Preferenced date showed up with a group of kids to kidnap him. They went to Monroe's for breakfast then over to the church to play games. Looking at the pics it looks like they had a good time. Kambrie and Macy did really well at their ball game and are improving a bunch. After the game Hank and I painted some trim, then I went into work for a few hours to tie up some loose ends that I needed to get taken care of before I am finished there. After work I picked up groceries and got home in time to see Cameron leave again for the big dance. Him and Elizabeth both looked very nice.
That is all for the week of January 31st, Hello February!!!
